Description:

Following are the minimum qualifications for the job:

  • BS degree and/or relevant work/education combination.
  • 3 to 5 years of related Retail Banking experience preferred with proven measurable results in sales, operations and management.
  • Ability to establish Branch sales goals and develop action plans.
  • Ability to motivate and direct staff to successful completion of sales objectives while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
  • Ability to represent the Bank in a professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain security of confidential information.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with all levels of personnel.
  • Evaluate options and make sound decisions.
  • Demonstrates leadership and credibility.
  • Manage conflicting priorities in a leadership role.
  • Attention to detail to ensure operational controls and compliance.

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Manage the branch to include: staff resources, branch goals/sales, customer service, operations, and branch budget.
  • Lead the sales effort in the branch calling on prospects and by motivating, coaching, counseling, and training branch associates on selling and servicing all products, promotions, and offers.
  • Implement bank marketing programs by training, teaching, and coaching associates about any new program.
  • Participate in the preparation, control, and monthly review of the branch budget.
  • Administer the human resources policies regarding hiring, disciplinary action, and terminations with assistance from Human Resources.
  • Make sure all branch associates are adequately trained. Provide coaching, counseling, and development of branch associates.
  • Prepare and administer scheduled performance reviews with associates according to the HR policy and procedures.
  • Develop strategies for maintaining existing accounts and generating new business for the Bank by making outside business calls.
  • Responsible for branch scheduling and ensuring that the associates¿ time is being used effectively and efficiently.
  • Responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the branch and the branch¿s adherence to policies, procedures, audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Required to represent the Bank in at least one civic and community organization to further enhance the Bank’s image and develop expanded business.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as needs dictate.
  • Must be able to work on Saturday
  • Must have reliable transportation that can be used for bank business.
  • Other duties as assigned.
